THE JOB

As Email Marketing Specialist you are responsible for the successful growth and performance of our email marketing channel for ecommerce . Your core activities consist of planning, designing and sending out all Ecommerce marketing newsletters, adding value to the growth of the subscribers base in both the Netherlands and Germany. In this role you work closely with our content specialists, web designer and marketing team, and will contribute to our marketing campaigns. You are familiar with improving metrics such as Open Rate, click through rates and revenue and make your newsletters as effective as possible. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, design, create and send all ecommerce marketing newsletters;
• Create captivating and effective templates for our marketing campaigns;
• Continuously monitor and analyze performance of campaigns to improve metrics;
• Continuously test variables such as send time, designs, messaging, landing pages in order to improve performance;
• Plan the subscriber customer journey, from subscribing to the “onboarding sequence”;

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant work experience in a similar role;
• HBO level of thinking and work (E.g. Creative Business);
• Optimal analytical skills;
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing is an advantage;
• Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop or a similar programme is a plus;
• You are a team player, flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic working environment;
• Eye for trends, graphic design and affinity with interior design;
